UPE nozzles are commonly used in sandblasting machines, which are part of a wet sandblasting process. This equipment can spray abrasive material (12% steel grit, 88% water) as a mist onto the surface of printed circuit boards, ensuring good adhesion and creating a uniformly non-directional ideal surface condition. As a result, it is effective for various pre-treatment processes such as dry film pre-treatment, pre-soldering treatment, pre-metal plating treatment, and liquid solder resist pre-treatment.

Due to the significant wear and frequent replacement of nozzles in wet sandblasting processes, LORRIC's products have a longer lifespan compared to lower-quality competitors.
