Mitigating Explosions and Providing Shrapnel Protection
In recent years, attacks with homemade bombs (also known as Improvised Explosive Devices, IEDs) have become increasingly frequent. Bullet-resistant panels made from DuroProtect® and LignoProtect® are highly effective in suppressing explosions and preventing fragmentation. DuroProtect® and LignoProtect® can absorb fragments caused by ball impacts and collisions, safely embedding them within the material.
Lightweight Material
Compared to traditional bulletproof materials, DuroProtect® and LignoProtect® are much less dense. This gives them a significant weight advantage and makes them easier to process.
Strong Fire Safety Capabilities
DuroProtect® and LignoProtect® are available in "fire-resistant" and "self-extinguishing" versions.
High Thermal Insulation Performance
DuroProtect® and LignoProtect® provide thermal insulation through their low thermal conductivity. This makes them particularly suitable for environments with extreme high and low temperatures.
Long Service Life
