Hollow Cone Nozzles

The liquid forms a vortex inside the nozzle's cavity, creating a hollow cone spray through the curved opening. Commonly used in scrubbers, cooling, dust suppression, and humidification, hollow cone nozzles have large channels that prevent clogging and produce fine atomized spray.

A single-fluid nozzle, known as a hollow cone nozzle, produces a spray pattern shaped like a hollow cone. The coverage pattern, when viewed from above, forms a hollow circular shape on the target surface.

Hollow Flow Distribution

The flow distribution effect of the hollow cone nozzle features the spray volume being greatest at the edges of the circular spray range, while the middle part has relatively less volume. This creates a hollow ring or donut-shaped distribution, with the cross-sectional view appearing concave in the center.
