Flowmeter Connections Types
Flow meter connections are categorized into two main types: threaded and insertion. Special attention is needed when connecting different materials to avoid debris that could lead to blockages.
Threaded connections
Threaded connections are divided into male (external) and female (internal), which can be chosen based on piping experience or the type used on existing equipment.
Male threads (external threads)
Male threads (external threads) and female threads (internal threads) refer to the placement of threads on fittings or connectors used in industrial applications for making secure joins between components.
